Submit your website to relevant category in Dmoz.
If you can afford list in Yahoo ($299)
Have links coming from different c class ip addresses.
Promote your website in Web 2.0 sites, Blogs - Social Networkings such as Myspace, Orkut, Facebook etc...
Directory submission is one of the best ways for one-way free back links.
DONT go for Reciprocal links.
